Position Overview: During the temporary assignment the incumbent will report directly to the Director of Human Resources and will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing attendance metrics to identify where to focus efforts for attendance improvement across the organization, initially focused on an attendance management pilot project with the Kitchener Fire Department. Through analysis of attendance data and other relevant reports, in consultation with Fire Management and HR, the position will provide support to Fire Management to determine root causes for attendance issues, promote best practices and make recommendations to assist Fire to achieve attendance goals.
